People locates begins with collecting as much information as possible about the subject. The information must then be analyzed and verified. We, at DLG Investigators have access to proprietary databases not normally available to the general public, which assist us in locating subjects quickly and efficiently. When all the databases and information collected proves to be lacking, we must resort to footwork, i.e. knocking on doors and interviewing third parties in order to track and locate the subject. Please give us a call to discuss locating even the most elusive subject.
Here are some of the types of subjects whom we have located:
Witnesses – An individual who, being present personally sees or perceives a thing; a beholder, spectator, or eyewitness; a person who can provide testimony in a court of law, or signs a document attesting the genuineness of its execution. When it comes time for court and your prime witness is missing in action we can help you locate them utilizing our access to proprietary databases.
Skip Tracing – A skip is a subject(s) who has fled or abandoned an obligation, such as abandoning a spouse and children. When you have been a victim of such an unreliable person we can help you locate them even if they are hiding in a different area of the United States.
Skip tracing is a process used to find someone who is missing. It requires gathering, organizing and analyzing large amounts of data on an individual to draw a conclusion about where he or she may be.
We access documents such as court files, property and motor vehicle records or proprietary electronic databases. Throughout the data collection, we try to verify everything before deciding what to do next, because looking into false leads can waste time and give an inaccurate picture of someone’s location. We will travel to where we think the person is living to verify that the information uncovered is correct. We have enjoyed much success with locating even your oldest and most difficult skips, including debtor, deadbeat parents and former employees. Please give us a call to discuss your case.
We only accept skip tracing assignments meeting the following permissible purposes.
- Assistance with the service of legal papers, or the collection of a debt
- Enforcement of a judgment, child support payments, or other court order
- Assist with the recovery of missing or stolen property
- Locating witnesses in a documented civil or criminal proceeding
- Settlement of a will or estate.
- Locating an immediate family member who is lost or missing.
Runaways – A runaway is a minor or a person under an arbitrary age, depending upon the local jurisdiction, who has left the home of his or her parent or legal guardian without permission. There are about two million cases of teenage runaways in America each year. The majority of them are under the age of 18
It’s impossible to truly understand how a parent feels when a child runs away, but it’s safe to assume that you’d be scared, angry, confused and/or depressed. You may also feel as though you’re better equipped to conduct a search than a private investigator or the local police. But it’s important to be realistic. A professional investigator will know how to find a runaway far more quickly and efficiently than you will. Investigators have been trained to find missing persons, and they’re able to survey the situation in a much more objective manner. They may have access to proprietary electronic databases that you will not have, and/or have access to a vast network of professionals to assist with your case.
A child does not always think with mature level skills; they can be guided by peers to places they do not belong or even want to be. We can help you locate and assist with reuniting you with your loved one.
Other people we have located:
- Former clients
- Former employees
- Long lost loved ones or family members who have voluntarily disappeared or run away
- Missing Heirs
- Witness Locates
- Dead Beat Parents
Dave is always very responsive and knowledgeable about all areas of investigation. He is a valuable resource and my firm uses his services on all matters from Superior to Municipal Court. I would recommend Dave for any investigative need.
“David Gamble is a great combination of investigator and business person. We have sought his advice on individual security situations at our firm as well as legal issues that require a pragmatic business approach. We view his firm as an extended member of our company helping us protect our assets.”
Your firm did an outstanding job of locating the witness to my accident and obtaining her statement. Because of your work, the case can now move forward, to what we hope is a judgment on my client’s behalf.
Dave and I worked together when we were both still in the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. When I found out he was starting a private investigation firm, I recommended to my law firm that we immediately use his services. Dave is an excellent investigator and photographer, and we now use his services on an almost daily basis for our private investigation needs. I would highly recommend him for any investigation, regardless of the complexity or urgency involved.
